This year’s theme was “Capturing Value Creating Profit”

The need to increase the value, not just the volume, of production is the foundation of the horticulture industry’s drive to become a $10 billion industry by 2020.

The 2011 HortNZ Conference aimed to improve delegates’ understanding of what drives value and how and where it is created, and destroyed, through the value chain. The aim was to provide delegates with knowledge and tools that they can use to capture greater value and create more profit within their own businesses.
