Information for all levy payers and collectors

Horticulture New Zealand held a referendum in 2006 asking growers to vote on a new compulsory levy affecting all fruit and vegetables. Growers voted "YES" to the levy, and it came into effect on 23 July 2007.

Our Magazines & the Email Newsletter

All HortNZ growers are entitled to receive for free either The Orchardist magazine or Grower monthly magazines, possibly even both if you grow fruit and vegetables. Berryfruit growers receive Grower and olive growers receive The Orchardist.

HortNZ also produces a free email newsletter for growers once a week. The newsletter concentrates on reporting on recent HortNZ activity and significant industry news.
