RSE Conference; “Resilient | Sustainable | Ethical”
6 & 7 July, Blenheim
10th anniversary of the scheme theme at the Marlborough Convention Centre
Join us to celebrate the tenth anniversary of the RSE Scheme.
The Recognised Seasonal Employer scheme is now in its tenth year. As well as being a celebration of the successes of the scheme, this is a chance for us to focus on what is needed to ensure that we can sustain that success into the future.
As stakeholders we need to plan how we can futureproof the RSE scheme so that it can be the solution to supplying sustainable seasonal labour it was always meant to be.
For the first time the RSE Conference is being held in Marlborough, at the state of the art Marlborough Convention Centre, which will also play host to the Gala Dinner. The Marlborough region is well known for its extensive range of quality wines and fresh gourmet produce and the MCC Culinary team will work with fresh, local produce to prepare food that is quintessentially the taste of Marlborough. At the end of the second day we will take the opportunity to show off some of the best the Marlborough has to offer by visiting some of the best purpose-built RSE Accommodation in the country.
Located at the top of the South Island, Marlborough is New Zealand's largest wine growing region and the home of world-renowned sauvignon blanc. Why not take advantage of being in Marlborough and stay for the weekend? Take your time to enjoy the scenic Sounds, award winning wines and brilliant cycling and walking tracks that the region has to offer.
There are a number of accommodation options within walking distance of the conference venue. These can be booked directly with the accommodation site.
