Bay of Plenty and Waikato October 2022 frosts declared an adverse event

The unseasonal frosts that struck the Bay of Plenty and Waikato regions in early October 2022 have been classified as a medium-scale adverse event by the Government.
As a result, Inland Revenue is exercising discretion to allow late deposits for the 2022 year and early withdrawals from the income equalisation scheme.
